God gave me this reflection this morning (hahaha becoming more aware of household chores :)) yeah, God can give revelation even from laundry :)
Some of us might be familiar with doing the laundry. Some of us hate it when our whites become all dull and grey after several washings. I believe there's a parallel to life.
There's a reason why God gave us instructions to walk righteously with Him. Just like white clothes we put into laundry without separation from dark colored clothes. It's convenient but after a while, it will slowly but surely becomes "grey-er". We will not notice it but before long it becomes dull and looks old.
It's the same with life. Often times, we tend to take to little "conveniences" and ignore God's teachings. "It's only this time", "It's no big deal", "I'll make it up and "pay back". But slowly but surely, the life that is meant to be exhibited drains away as the little "conveniences" becomes conveniences and eventually a lifestyle.
So there must be a reason why God set us apart.
The good news is that even though dullness has set in, it's never too late as God provides a super bleach, Jesus. Life can come back. That's the good news.
